Little Sizzlers!

I went to Target today, and our Target recently expanded to include some groceries (no bakery or produce). I was thrilled to see that they had Little Sizzlers! No place else around here carries them. They are the only sausage that I like. I have missed them.

Over the weekend I cleaned out my refrigerator. It was full when I started. This is what it looked after. Guess I had a lot of crap in there!




I also cleaned up my books somewhat. This stackI've accumulated during book scouting for my own reading. Guess I ought to get busy!

Here's my latest movies.

39. Death at a Funeral (DVD) 8/10. Really funny, and I don't usually like British Comedies.

40. Bella (DVD) 6.5/10. Good enough story. A little on the boring side.

41. Personal Best (TV) 7/10. Pretty good. Hadn't seen it before. Made me want to go run afterwards!

42. Sex and the City (Theater) 8/10. Thought it was pretty good. Better than I expected.

It's Derby Day!

It's been really tough to pick someone this year. But here's what I would bet if I was at the track.

My flat out pick to win- Colonel John

I'd do an exatca box with Colonel John and Pyro.

I'd put some money to show on a longshot-Cool Coal Man

I'd probably do another exacta box with Eight Belles and Big Brown.

Been slow on the movies again. I was hooked on the PBS show Carrier this past week. That was awesome!

31. Baby Mama (Theater) 8/10. I had low expectations, so it turned out much better than I thought.

32. Pillow Talk (TV) 7/10. Love the old Doris Day movies

33. 21 (theater) 7/10. Entertaining enough for a few hours. Had a free ticket I had to use up before it expired next week, and this was about the only thing I wanted to see.
