Finally, an Update!
Alright, alright already! I'm updating!
All I do is work and go home. Sometimes I get to the beach, but often I don't. I have a part time job where I work Monday nights, Friday nights and Saturdays. It's at a Bowling Center. You can check it out by going to www.superplayusa.com
I got the part time job to save up money to go to California this summer on vacation. I leave on Friday, June 23. I'll be spending a few days up in San Francisco, going to the Nascar race at Infineon Raceway that Sunday. Then I will be spending 3-4 days at Yosemite National Park. Then I'll be spending a few days visiting friends Melissa and Eric and their two little boys (who I've yet to see) in LA before heading home on July 2.
I don't have much more that's new so I thought I'd just post the movies I've seen lately and my grade, and a few comments on each.
In the Theater:
Mission Impossible 3 B+ Lots of action, Phillip Seymour Hoffman is great.
Just My Luck C+ Cute enough for a teen movie, some pretty funny parts.
DaVinci Code B- Didn’t read the book so I’m sure some of the parts I didn’t get were explained in the book, interesting but pretty far fetched.
The Break Up B+ Funny, good story.
Over the Hedge B Funny and cute.
On DVD:
Last Holiday A- Good story, funny.
Beauty Shop C+ Funny parts, but pretty predictable.
Chicken Little B Good for a Disney movie.
One Last Thing C+ Decent, but I expected more.
An Unfinished Life C+ Also good, but story’s been told 100 times.
Cheaper by the Dozen 2 B+ Funny, good sequel.
Something New A- Good story, but main character can be really irritating!
Match Point D Didn’t see a whole lot of point to the movie.
Mrs. Henderson Presents B Entertaining, good acting.
Freedomland C- Was going along great, why Julianne Moore didn’t get an Oscar nomination for this I’ll never know, but ending was very disappointing.
Rumor Has It C- Funny in parts, dumb in parts.
Shopgirl B Good story, acting.
I'm very much looking forward to Cars and Praire Home Companion (of course I have to see that) this weekend. Also really looking forward to Nacho Libre, Click, Little Miss Sunshine, the Lake House, and the Lady in the Water.
