A Little Something Every Day...

One of my New Year's goals is to write something every day. Who knows what I'll write about?

The Death Trees are still blooming

...that's what I'm calling them, death trees. I don't think I've sneezed this much in my whole life! Lot's of people are having allergy issues this week.

Here's my movie list for the weekend.

5. Annie Hall (DVD) 6/10. It was ok. Sometimes Woody Allen is really funny, sometimes not. Awhile back I watched "Scoop" which I really liked.

6. The Namesake (Theater) 9/10. Different than I expected, but an excellent movie.

7. Mallrats (DVD) 7/10. I hadn't seen this since College. Since I've been on a Kevin Smith kick I thought I'd watch it again. As with all of his movies, some parts are just hillarious, other parts dumb.

8. Come Early Morning (DVD) 6/10. A Sundance entry this year by Joey Lauren Adams. Ashely Judd starred. It was a little boring.

9. Shut Up and Sing- Dixie Chicks documentary. (DVD) 8/10. I really liked the parts that showed them recording their latest album. I didn't know whether or not to buy it 'cause I didn't really like the only single I've heard -Not Ready to Make Nice. The rest of the album sounds pretty good so I'll probably buy it.

10. Rocky Balboa (DVD) 8/10. When I first saw previews for this movie in the theater I thought "how dumb". Maybe it was because I had low expectations, but I loved the movie.

I did watch a lot this weekend because I had no energy to do much else, and going outside made things worse! I did manage to go up to the Kohls in Melboune and found the comforter set that I had wanted since last summer on clearance for 80% off! So instead of $190 it was $37. Heck of a deal.
